Friendly Bar

The staff are friendly, the drinks are reasonable, the courtyard was wonderful tonight, and there was a good mix of people. Will be back.

My review was for Hunters, not Phoenix.

ok to visit

I've been there three times, once I really enjoyed myself, the other two times I left. Not the best place to go.

Great Find!

I recently came across Hunter's while visiting the area on business. Despite poor reviews I decided to go because I had nothing else to do. I went both on a Wed & Thurs night. Wed was a little slow, but I was impressed with the club and thought the patio area was really cool. Sean, one of the bartenders was very friendly, and remembered me when I came back the next night. Thursday night was a busier with a good crowd. Plenty of attractive men and women were there. I even noticed several transgender people who seemed to be having a good time. I thought the drink prices were comparable to everywhere else that I've been in regards to gay bars from Chicago to Ft Lauderdale. I did noticed that there seemed to be several clicks and people didn't seem to want to approach people they didn't know. I'm not use to that, so it was a little unusual to me, but I still enjoyed being there. If I'm in the area again, I'll go back.

RUDE TO CROSSDRESSERS

Stay away from this place,if you dress or like dressers. Many regulars are envious of men going there looking for dressers buying drinks. Some of staff tells lies and to justify their policies and prejudices .
