Fresh Mexican fare with a sophisticated twist
No matter what dish you choose, you can be sure to receive quality ingredients, impeccable execution, and great service. Not the most lively queer neighborhood, but the food has enough flair for everyone!

      One of Chicago's best
This place is close to downtown, but one of the gems in the city. I have been to both sides of the restaurant, and enjoyed both. Topolobampo is fine dining and something you won't soon forget. I have only had the forture of eating here once, but Rick Bayless, the chef, is credited with bringing fine Mexican dining to the masses in Chicago. The great thing about this place is that most nights you actually see Bayless working there.

      Yum and Yum!!!
My partner go to Chicago every now and then from Kalamazoo Mi. When we are there we go to Rick Bayless' Frontera Grille on Clark Street. It is two restaurants. Frontera Grille is the more reasonable tasty fare. Tomolobampo is more expensive. The food is awesome. Sometimes Rick Bayless is there talking to restaurant goes. What a treat!
