Dance/Walk/Strut Vigil for Orlando | Pulse
Together we will dance, walk or strut along The 606 in remembrance of those killed in Orlando at the Pulse nightclub. As we move from Damen (Churchill Park) to Albany (Julia de Burgos Park), we will say their names. Greeting the new weekend in pride.
All ages and peoples welcome. Bring lots of color and lots of love. Portable speakers are also welcome, or you can join the silent procession.
Following, there is a hip hop party workshop (unrelated to the vigil) for the whole family at Julia de Burgos Park, if you want to stay. That portion is part of the 606 Moves! Free Social Dance Workshops.
