Proud to announce the 1st Annual Pride Idol competition taking place at The Glenwood Bar for Pride North Chicago. Here is the breakdown for the event and how to sign-up: Where: The Glenwood Bar (6962 N Glenwood) in Rogers Park What/Who: - If your act can fit in a bar - we want you! - ALL talents: singing, bands, duets, dance, comedy, magic, drag performers, your pets -- if they can steal the show, weird human body tricks... you get where we're going with this. - There will be a karaoke system for singers - You can run an MP3 track through the sound system - E-mail OpenMikeyMic@gmail.com w/ any questions about performing and logistics When: 4 rounds of general auditions, Judges Pick: - Tuesday, 5/5 (sign-up in person at 7) - Tuesday, 5/12 (sign-up in person at 7) - Tuesday, 5/19 (sign-up in person at 7) - Tuesday, 5/26 (sing-up in person at 7) 4-week Invited Competition Dates, Audience Pick: - Tuesday, June2: WILD CARD SHOWDOWN - Tuesday, June 9: TOP 18 - Tuesday, June 16: TOP 10 (SEMI-FINALS) - Tuesday, June 23: TOP 5 (FINALS) 4 Judges' picks from each audition week will automatically advance as Top 16. Wildcard picks will come back to compete on June 2 for an additional 2 spots in the Top 18.
