MARVIN TATE is a notorious poet and Soul Man who has performed widely, including on National Public Radio's This American Life, Def Jam Poetry, The Heartlands in SanFrancisco, the Chicago Blues Festival and the Eindehoefen Museum in the Netherlands. His most recent book is The Amazing Mister Orange (Curbside Splendor Publishing).
M. SHELLY CONNER is a queer Womanist writer, an educator, and a proud Southside Chicagoan. She is the Executive Director of the start up nonprofit Quare Square Collective, Inc. (www.quare2collective.org) for queer artists of color in the Midwest. She hosts the monthly Quare Square Open Mic.
PETER JURMU is the editor-in-chief of Artifice Books. Along with Cassandra Troyan, he runs the reading and performance series ARTIFICIAL EAR in Chicago.
JAMES TADD ADCOX is the author of The Map of the System of Human Knowledge (Tiny Hardcore Books), and a forthcoming novel, Does Not Love (Curbside Splendor Publishing).
