Bringing class to downtown Chicago

Really the only destination if you're staying downtown in Chicago. Big name DJs every Friday and Saturday and a very popular Karaoke night in the lower level at 9pm.

It's a nice bar. Nothing lol but the visitors are nice. Good place for a drink and chat. The basemet has a dancing floor that is more a lounge tipe.If you intend to something more exciting go to another place.

A Lesbian bar! Written for the ladies.

Awesome bar even for straight people. Great drinks & hot employees! Hopefully this review doesn't bring me bad Karma.... ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Ladies, leave the stilettos at home and stick to flats if you're coming here. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Quite possibly the best entertainment at this bar is standing outside watching women in heels unsuccessfully navigate the brutal sidewalk. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- If a woman were to successfully make her way into the bar, what she'll find is a nice clean venue with friendly staff, a primary male, mellow crowd, limited beer selection (Corona bottle = $6) and HGTV on the screens. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Oh, and don't get too overconfident about successfully managing the sidewalk, cause you'll have to overcome 2 more shoe traps inside: floor leading into the north bar and the drain in the ladies bathroom. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ I'd recommend this place if you're wearing flats and looking for something chill after dinner. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Never a first choice

The interior is awesome, great upscale feel, but thats where the good things stop. Staff was indifferent, borderline rude and inattentive. Granted it was a Wednesday night, but the place was dead, and only other people there were older and coupled up. Definitely won't be on my radar next time I come to town.

mellow lounge bar

This spacious new addition with three(!) bars, is both classy creatively intriguing even.... yet mellow & inviting in every way. Conducive to conversation, there's plenty of comfortable seating, lounges, the music / video level is well balanced, not deafening (!) The bar menu features very special touches, and, like the drink menu is resonably priced. Staff are unfailingly courteous, helpful re drink choices, parking queries etc... And this blessed absence of 'tude makes this a safe welcoming venue for women too. Owners & seasoned pros, John and Brian & their staff, are to be congratulated on this, an inspiring alternative addition to downtown chicago's River north...~ :)
