Lively crowd
Don't miss their Broadway sing-a-long. What goes together better than gays and Broadway? The drinks are fun and fast.
This place is so fun!
I need to,,, to reiterate my love for this bar. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Sidetracks is my perfect place. Seriously. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- There's friendly bartenders. Dance music playing and people be-bopping along. The rooftop is AMAZING. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ It's been a long hard year of ??????planning so after that final "we're finally done (I think...)" meeting, we treated ourselves to cocktails at a very much missed hang out. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ And it was like coming home again. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- The pours are heavy and the service is sweet. And on a warm day where you want both a drink and a slushy, come nab one with some vodka in it here! ----------------------------------------------------------------------- My favorite thing ever though is Sunday nights. There's nothing better than singing your favorite show tunes with people you don't know but already love! ----------------------------------------------------------------------- They've redone some stuff to keep it fresh and gorgeous. So come with me, pull up a bar stool and *sigh* Welcome to a good life. ------------------------------------------------------------------------
A BLAST
Took my bf and we had a extreamly great time . It was also my cuming out and first time in boytown enjoyed every moment .
just the way i like it.
Starting off boring at Roscoe's things finally turned at Sidetrack. I love the location, the different areas (even though the upper area was closed that day), and just how huge that place is. Nice people, not too intrusive, not too desperate, just friendly and nice. Had loads of fun, would definitely return. Plus: Prices (at least for beer) are even lower than at Roscoe's.
ok
Nice enough and lives up to the expecations. However, be warned that the crowd is very clickish and sometimes down right rude. I have lived in NYC and have never been treated they way some of the queens act here. Bartenders are great and some are even cute ;-) it is the place to go while you're in Chicago. My fellow minorities, remember, you are still in the mid west and still a minority. Esp here!!! Great decor and always great music. Staff is always wonderful...
