REALLY liked the Dana. Will definitely stay here again.

I really The Dana Hotel and Spa. The rate offered at the Dana through hotels.com for nights I needed to attend a conference in Chicago were within my room night per diem, so I booked it. Boosch! Loved it from the moment I got out of the cab from ORD. Attractive and very stylish personnel. Exceptional and friendly service from the curb to the front desk staff. Loved the grand staircase and the vault-like street to level-lobby level elevator. Major wow factor upon entering the guest room. Risque, but very dramatic wall-to-wall, floor to ceiling windows. Spacious guest room. Sleek bathroom. Decadent shower. In fact, the shower gets a high ranking on my favorite hotel showers list. Hmmm...there's an idea! Anyway, let me continue...not enough closet space for a week's worth of suits, but I made it work. Sweeping bedroom. Stunning floors. Minimal, but elegant decor. Comfortable bed. Spacious desk space. Functional and movable room furnishings. Very impressive fitness and spa services, Sumptuous in-room dining. Great location, just minutes between the Gold Coast, the Loop, Michigan Avenue, the Riverwalk, the Theatre District, Millennium Park, and Lake Michigan beaches. Enough already! I really liked the Dana. Will definitely stay here again.

Serene and Relaxing

The Dana is a small, boutique hotel with modern decor. The rooms are nicely furnished and the staff is friendly. The Dana is conveniently located downtown, only 2 blocks from the Red Line, and 2 blocks from Michigan Ave. There's also a roofdeck bar that gets hopping at night. The crowd is mostly straight, but gay-friendly. Overall, a relaxing spot to base your visit to Chicago.

"A bed in the clouds"

I just stayed at the Dana with my boyfriend for a couple of nights... the hotel was stunning, the service immaculate, and the room. My boyfriend told them this was a little romantic getaway for us and they upgraded us to a corner room, with floor to ceiling windows, see-through shower (hot!), and a *very* comfortable bed. There were a few little kinks... the phone & closet door had issues... but they came immediately and fixed everything. And, a fantastic 1st floor restaurant and a HOT rooftop club. Plus all the spa stuff... :) Loved it.
