I had a very different experience but YES location is great but the room was teeny teeny teeny and overlooked the Belmont station so every 3-5 minutes the train, the bell, the noise...it was too much. And the room was WAY pricier than advertised so I felt I got royally screwed (and not in the good way). The number of ads that pop up on BBRT that are at City Suites Hotel will make you laugh when you are staying there (and if you're a 100% top you will never have to leave the hotel just watch your phone explode)
so much original charm
Ok, the room are a little small but they make up for it with some fantastic original architectural details and great service. This is always my first choice. Convenient to Boystown and the Belmont stop. I just love this place and Iām actually staying here now.
Small But cute & location a plus
The rooms are small for sure but they were very clean. Its right by the metro rail and across from both food and Berlin club. Boystown was the next block up. I'd stay here again.
Always my first choice
The location to Halstead and the metro is great. It's also next to an Anne Sathers which is a fantastic breakfast place. It's an old historic hotel so you need to keep the right frame of mind. Hilton it's not, but it been kept well, it's very clean and the staff is friendly.
Nice Place
It is right next door to the Belmont metro station which you can catch directly from both airports. The place is clean but the rooms are small. I speficied to the hotel NOT to place me on the side of the trains and they didn't. I didnt get a room with a window view but good place to have a clean room with good comforts. An added bonus was complimentary access to a Bally's gym. The gym was nothing to write home about but for the people that need a REAL gym to work out it was great. It is right the street from Boystown so it was even better!!
The First Rule..Location, Location, Location
In the heart of great food, great nightlife, great shopping and next to an "L" station. I've never used a car. I've stayed here MANY times and there have been quirks, but even those make the place more interesting than anything downtown. Where else can you walk out the door and go to a punk bar, a Dunkin Donuts, or a Huka shop...(Oh, and stumble home from boystown)
