Meet your host and features:

--Rashida Phillips
Intrigued by the magic and mystery of music, songstress Rashida Phillips explores ways in which sound and lyric invoke mood, feeling, and the range of human emotion over time. Rooted in jazz, she believes in carrying forward stories of tradition but also experimenting with the verse and flow of now. Beyond category. Performing both nationally and locally, she originally hails from St. Louis, Missouri but Chicago has become her anchor, a place to build community, raise a family, and further open a gateway out to the rest of the world.
--J.P. Floyd is one Chicago's most talented instrumentalists. The 25 year old hailing from the West Side attended Lincoln Park High School & Hampton University, where he became a member of the Pi Beta Chapter of Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia Fraternity of America INC. He has toured and performed with Kids These Days, Frank Ocean, Chance The Rapper, Kool and the Gang, Bette Midler, and Demi Lovato. Check out his 1st solo project, also produced by J.P.
