Not so special
I was there recently and accidently met a great guy. I really falled in love with him. Thanks for all your kisses, your skin soft and tender attentions. In other hand, the place smell very bad. Somewhere it's shit smell. It is disturbing to see everything that floats in the tub. Lights on the room are absent, bring a flashlight with you. All steamwork not have the same standarts. That Toronto is diametrically clean and new. The place is worth visiting, but requires lots of improvements.
Fantastic
I went for the first time on the Monday after the the Pride Parade so it was a bit slow, but even still I had my dick in someones mouth in no more than 15 minutes and hooked up 4 times in 3 hours. The front staff was very friendly and very helpful. The place was incredibly clean, way above my expectations. The sauna and Jacuzzi were very relaxing. The overall atmosphere was great. No one seemed pushy or creepy, just everyone looking for a good time, and I didn't have to tell anyone "no" twice. The music was a techno style mix but was played just loud enough to be heard and not blasting. Plenty of space and rooms. Glory holes galore. Even if you don't want any action, no one seemed shy about just letting you watch. Plenty of condoms although if you have a larger dick like me I suggest bringing your own since they only have the regular sized ones. Overall this place is great and I can't wait to go again.
Maybe it was an off day, will try again
Well when I found out that I was coming to Chicago for four (4) weeks, my friends gave me a laundry list of places to go while there. Number 3 on the list was Boystown and it had bullet point on where in Boystown to go. Number one was Steamworks. Well I was not too sure about going to a bathhouse, so I went to the Pride Fest instead. While at Pride Fest, I came (no pun intended) across the Steamworks booth. I talked to the men running the both and the convinced me to go. So the following day, Sunday, I went. Arrived at 12:55 and stayed almost until five. I’m still not sure if it was money well spent. The Staff is very friendly and helpful and with all that I was told takes place there, it was surprisingly clean and well kept. I was told that from 1pm to 6 pm was Bears, Bath, and Beyond. So I expected to see a lot of big hairy guys running around in towels. What I saw was a mix crowd of Latinos, men of color and Caucasians, in a mixed age range. The fitness level of most of the guys there would make most gyms green with envy. There were a few guys, like myself who know they are not Undergear models but are not Jabba the Hutt’s twin brother either, and there were your standard handful of Ogres, which is standard for any gay establishment. There seemed to be an air of division among the clients or clicks. Maybe I had Out of Towner stamped on my forehead, because there was no association or brotherly love (yeah I know that’s Philly) but I had better luck picking up “dates” on Manhunt then trying to make out here, with one exception. At about the third hour mark, a handsome well build man of color showed me his talents in manual dexterity, Oral presentation, and analytical skills. For that I thank him. So maybe Pride Fest took away the normal client base that goes there, I’m not sure. So I will try again next weekend, which I just found out is during the Pride Parade, and see how that goes. I may also try once in the evening during the week, and see if it makes a difference.
Gest Gay Bathhouse....PERIOD!!!
This is a great place for meeting guys, watching guys and getting your rocks off. You can have as much or as little sex as you want! The steam rooms are great! The hot tub is massive and you can get up close and personal with almost anyone you want. Great looking guys of all ages and there is enough traffic so you will never be bored! I wish that this was also a hotel option. I attended a couple bear parties here. I come to Chicago a few times a year - and always spend a significant part of my time here. This is a five star place. Oh, by the way - the gym itself is also great!
