Not particularly great.
I went with my ex a last week. We were sat at the seat in front of the stage. My ex has never been to a drag show, so a friend of mine recommended that we try this place. The cost was a bit much and the mandatory 2 drink minimum was silly to me. If your service is good and drinks are made correctly, people will buy them. The show overall was okay, but the body language from some of the performers towards us was unnerving. Some wouldn't walk to our side of the stage. One in particular, the called Chilli peppers was rude towards us, starring and mouthing off about my ex. For which we did nothing but watch the show and clapped when things were good. I suspect it had something to do with my ex looking like a mountain main and not being from the city. Or that we were the only guys in a sea of women( bachelorette parties). One thing was clear was the level of aggression from Chilli peppers towards the end of the show was disgusting. I'll never return and will make sure others I know don't give them business. Mimi and Angel were great to watch and one can tell that they actually love to perform. The others, well I saw better at drag nights at local bars. The Decor was okay and music was tasteful. Unless you want to see Angel or Mimi up close, save your money and time.
sucks all about ripping customer off
Arrived and paid the big cover and then sat down and saw one person and was told the show was over. Yuck no where it was posted and still had pay 2 drink min for five min show. Place sucks and so did the service
Great Drag Shows
This place has been there forever almost..the shows are really great..been there in 09' & had a real good time..but the service sucks you have to beg for a drink..would I go back Definitely!!...LOL
Comedic Drag with mixed seriousness = EXPENSIVE
Fun to go with friends. Typically you need a reseveration and purchase/hold tickets in advance. Drinks are pricey as well as the constant baddgering to tip the drag queens. It can add up to be pretty expensive for just ok entertainment.
Baton is fun
Baton can be a fun club to watch drag shows. I always have a pretty good time at this spot. The entertainment is top quality and the female impersonators are very talented. The only draw back is the service can be somewhat lacking. I had to wait a while to get drinks because the waiters were busy gabbing in the corners and around the waitress well. All in all, fun place!
