LGBTQ Gallery Opening: Adam Thomas & Mary King

A Special LQBTQ Artists Gallery Opening of the “Birds of Song” and “Old Lesbians and Other Contenders” Exhibit launches on Friday, September 8, from 6:00-8:00 pm. The opening night event is the official premiere of the work by renowned artists Adam Thomas and Mary King. The opening night reception will include a cash bar. The exhibit will run September 8 through October 17. “Birds of Song” Exhibit by Artist Adam Thomas is in the 2nd Floor Gallery -- This exhibit features a musical layer added to the paintings by mounting the actual sheet music on panel, using a polyurethane medium with oil paint, and an overlay with thin layers of wax for added protection and depth. “Old Lesbians and Other Contenders” Exhibit by Artist Mary King is in the 3rd Floor Gallery -- This exhibit features multiple mediums of drawing with lovely colors and perfect arrangement with participants in the pictures frequently on high alert and some having more fun than others.
