Chi-Town Rise & Shine 5K

Ok runners, rise and shine, and don’t forget your booties ‘cause it’s cooooold out there. But this is Chicago after all, the city of big shoulders, and we rise above the cold. Chi-Town Rising, Chicago’s biggest New Year’s Eve celebration, kicks off even earlier this year with the addition of the Chi-Town Rise & Shine 5K Race through a never been run before course in Millennium & Maggie Daley Park on Saturday, December 31. All runners will receive a custom winter wearable and will be greeted with hot chocolate and warming blankets at the finish line. Stay for the post race party at Sweetwater Tavern where all runners will receive a FREE Corona Extra OR Mimosa and other featured specials including $11 Breakfast Tacos and $15 Churchill Micheladas. There’s no better way to start your day and earn your right to party into the New Year! The Chi-Town Rise & Shine 5K is proud to support Special Olympics Chicago as the charity partner.
