You know how the saying goes: good things come to those who wait. For all of you who have been asking about the next Queer Tech Club event, the wait is over! Tim Carbonara and Hal Shipman have taken over a lot of the event planning as co-organizers of the club, so expect to see more awesome events like this in the coming months.

This month, Queer Tech Club is teaming up with GE Transportation and GE in Chicago's GLBTA Alliance to hold an event at the global headquarters for GE’s transportation business. The night will include networking with fellow QTC members as well as GE’s digital staff and GLBTA, hearing about GE’s digital industrial transformation, the growth of GE’s tech footprint in Chicago and open digital jobs, and plenty of time for you to share what tech projects you’ve been working on since summer.
Pizza, beer and wine will be provided by GE. Feel free to arrive as early as 5 p.m. as doors will be open.
Attendees must RSVP by 5 p.m., October 24 so GE’s security desk has a complete list of guests.
