Chicago Flame of Hope Luncheon

Join us for a luncheon to benefit American Indian scholars on October 4, 2016 in Hilton Chicago. Less than 13% of American Indians have a college degree. And with 40% of the American Indian population under 18 years old, it's more important than ever to take action NOW. Together we will ensure that equal education is a right, not a privilege. Our keynote speaker is Bethany Yellowtail, Northern Cheyenne and Crow. She graduated from The Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandise. Bethany is an advocate of equal education, fashion designer and owner of B.Yellowtail, a fashion line that celebrates ancestral tradition, beauty, and culture, and embraces authentic indigenous design through wearable art. This is a unique opportunity to meet our amazing student scholars and hear first-hand how your support is helping change the lives of American Indian scholars.
