Limelight Series: Anti/Beyond

Each month, Center on Halsted's Limelight Series gives you a closer look at Chicagoland's diverse artistic community. Center on Halsted’s Limelight Series presents Anti/Beyond featuring a live performance by Chicago based-indie act Anti/Beyond and a screening of their music video “Piece of Glass” directed by filmmaker Michael Ryan. “Piece of Glass” sheds light on the road to a queer/bisexual identity as one full of shame, conflict and confusion that ultimately leads to a greater acceptance of self. Following the performance, the artist will offer a short explanation of the music video, addressing how it deals with themes of bisexuality and queer identity and will also provide time for questions.
