We invite you to take binge watching from your couch to a Chicago rooftop. As part of our "Sixty Offline" events, we’ve asked some friends to share the series and shorts they’ve been watching on the web and join us as we binge watch a selection of their recent releases–showing particular love to Chicago productions and ones that tell stories by and about those of us who are women, queer, of color, and move through the spaces between.
This first one will feature actor, director, and producer Sam Bailey--the brilliant mind behind You're So Talented and Brown Girls.
These events are meant to be intimate and a gathering of friends. So, bring a blanket or a lawn chair. Sneak in some candy or your dinner. We’ll provide the popcorn and there will be drinks available by donation.
All binges will take place at Bronzeville Artist Lofts (436 E. 47th St.), rain or shine. BAL is not a public space, so please RSVP at the link to receive access information.
