A Lilith Fair Cabaret

Join the New American Folk Theatre as we celebrate the music of Lilith Fair. Lilith Fair was a traveling music festival playing in Summer from 1997-1999 and revised in 2010, bringing together an amazing array of female performers and artisans. Founded by Sarah McLachlan, as a response to being told that two women couldn't tour together, Lilith Fair proved that there was a huge audience for an all women's show. The Indigo Girls, Paula Cole, Loretta Lynn, Missy Elliot, Lisa Loeb,Sheryl Crow, The Dixie Chicks, Emmylou Harris, Patty Griffin and countless others headlined many of these shows. NAFT is pleased to have The Congress of Starlings, Anna Schlegel, Maureen San Diego and a host of others in a tribute to this important movement in music history. Tickets are available at the door of the Den Theatre Cabaret (1329 N. Milwaukee Avenue, first floor.)and are pay-as-you-can (suggested donation of $10.00) Door are at 7:30 and the show is at 8 p.m.
