The Call For Love

DJ Alex Peace was so deeply affected by the Orlando tragedy that he immediately wanted to take action to help. Due to his long standing status as a legendary Chicago DJ, he contacted his dear friend, Jay Jay and they decided to pool their resources to create something memorable to help the cause. Due to the heinous nature and national awareness of the Orlando Tragedy, many people wanted to be apart of this event. The location that signed on to the event is The Call Bar. Obviously the event is about love. So it was a no brainer to name the event "The Call For Love". The Call For Love is a fundraising event to offer financial assistance to the staff and families of the victims of the Orlando tragedy. Monies raised will be donated to the NCVC's National Compassion Fund. The National Center for Victims of Crime was approached by victims of past mass casualty crimes to establish a “National Compassion Fund.” The Fund will raise public donations which will be distributed directly to victims of future mass casualty crimes. It is imperative that all victims' families and survivors call NCVC's Victim Hotline, so that victims’ families and survivors have access to these critical financial resources. The NCVC will work with law enforcement and government agencies to quickly verify their identity, identify their expenses, and process disbursements.
