Launch Party!

We are inviting you to attend our launch party on July 17th at The Den from 6-10. Our goal is to host a fun, creative, interactive cabaret party environment that will inspire the plays for Octopod, our podcast of new radio plays, featuring Chicago writers and actors. Helping us set the tone of the evening are an eclectic group of performers, including the band Sinfolk (Jess Godwin and Gabe Ruiz), the Chicago-based burlesque performer Audrey Tawdrey, and magician David Parr of The Magic Cabaret In addition to the performances, there will be activities around the room that give party-goers an opportunity to be creative through writing, interaction, and making things. At the end of the evening the playwrights we invite will use the events from the evening as well as the the things party-goers create to inspire their 20-minute radio play. Octopod podcast begins airing in October 2016. Food will be provided by Southern France and Monti's Restaurant. Tickets are $10 online or at the door. All proceeds from the event go towards our first season and the Octopod.
