MY DEVILS AT BAY DANCE PARTY With Chances Dances DJs CQQCHIFRUIT & HIJO PRODIGO ALL AGES WELCOME! ALL GENDER EXPRESSIONS WELCOME! ADA ACCESSIBLE DANCE FLQQR! I Shout To Keep My Devils At Bay, curated by Kantara Souffrant and sponsored by Links Hall, showcases a weekend-long series of performances, community events, and discussions that examines the relationship between crisis, art activism, and healing practices within the sacred and the secular realms. The event brings together performers, visual artists, community organizers and (spi)ritual leaders to create a large-scale conversation about why, in an age where groups of people are told that they/we are invaluable (i.e. black people, people of color, LGBTQ people, poor people, women, non-normative folks of all backgrounds), WE make art to keep from crying, to resist dying, and to find pleasure in living. $5 entry, or free with a ticket to the following event: “My Devils at Bay: Solo Performances of Monstrosity” @ Links Hall 7pm Featuring works by: Eddie Gamboa, Patricia Nguyen, N.
