Sones de México at Mole de Mayo Festival

Sones de México Ensemble returns to Mole de Mayo, an annual festival celebrating mole, the incredible culinary dish from Mexico, in Pilsen, the heart Chicago's Mexican community. We'll perform on the east stage at the corner of 18th & Blue Island. This 3-day event (May 27-29) will include a mole cook-off where local restaurant chefs will compete for one of two awards: 1. Mole de Mayo’s Best Mole Award 2. People’s Choice Award. Along with the traditional mole puestos (booths), this outdoor festival will have music, artisans, Azteca dance, Lucha libre and more!
