Pride Weekend is the time to hit Hollywood Beach! Saturday June 25th 10am till the sun goes down! (weather permitting) I invite all Transmen to come out to Hollywood Beach AKA The Gay Beach in Chicago! Bring food and your drinks of choice! Liquor is “not allowed” on the beach. If you are drinking alcohol, conceal it in a container at your own risk! I recommend the following to bring:

Beach towel, cooler, plenty of ice, food, music, a bluetooth speaker, water, and your sexiest swimsuit! Invite everyone ya know! This is going to a ton of fun! There is usually over 1000 people at the beach on this day! I am going to try to find a Trans Pride Flag to put up so for those unfamiliar can find everyone!
NOTE: If you are pre top surgery just wear a binder! Wear a jock under your swimsuit if you pack! REMEMBER, this is about visibility! I know it can be very nerve racking but no worries, you will have all the support you can have! Beaches are scary for Transmen. Now is the time to come out and enjoy the beach without fear or humiliation!
Hollywood Beach is located Off Lake Shore Drive and Hollywood Blvd. There is no parking located at the beach. You can either find street parking or park at Foster Beach (1 beach south). I highly recomend taking public transportation! The closest train stop is the Red line Brwn Marr! The closest bus stop is Sheridan #151 get off right at Hollywood! The Gay section of the beach is the South End of the beach!
