Friends, let us come together and celebrate all that is great in the world: skeeball, Begyle Beer, pizza, giving a hand to people suffering from nasty diseases, winning cash and prizes, and of course, Lindsay Stevens.
On Sunday, March 13, we’ll have the Sunday to top all Sunday Fundays. Join us for a high roller skeeball tournament sponsored by Begyle Brewing and The SKEE League: Chicago to celebrate Lindsay’s birthday and raise money for AIDS research.
With your registration, you’ll get a free Begyle beer, free pizza, entry into the tournament, and a chance at tons of prizes including concert tickets, Threadless art, a waxing service, a one hour bar party at Old Town Social and the $300 tournament grand prize.
And don’t worry if you aren’t so great at skeeball. The earlier you’re kicked out of the tournament, the more raffle tickets you get for your chance at the aforementioned prizes (minus the cash prize for the winner). And everyone wins that warm and fuzzy feeling you get when you know you’re doing something to help those in need. (Also, birthday cupcakes.)
We’ll announce even more prizes as we get closer to the date.
To register, send $30 via Venmo or Paypal to jesshanebury@gmail.com. (Over half goes to charity!) Hurry, once the 64 spots are gone, they’re gone! (If you use PayPal, PLEASE select “friends and family” and not “goods or services”.)
The skee tournament is high roller style which works like this:
64 person, single player bracket
Traditional High Roller Rules. NO MONEY BALL!!!
Best of 3 rounds. 9 balls per round. Winner advances.
The LAST BALL from each round can ALWAYS be a HUNDO.
ONE round per match can be (but doesn't have to be) used to roll ALL HUNDOS. Use it wisely.
The higher (better) seed chooses who goes first, and rollers alternate going first after that. (For example: whoever rolls first in Round 1 rolls second in Round 2, and vice versa.)
The raffle will be drawn at the end of the tournament.
