Vida/SIDA's World AIDS Day

Join the Puerto Rican Cultural Center-Vida/SIDA as we commemorate WORLD AIDS DAY. An event where we remember those we have lost & honor those who are currently living with HIV/AIDS. Candlelight Vigil 4:00p.m. We will light candles & we will have an altar where we encourage everyone to bring picures of family/friends who have lost theor lives because of this epidemic. We will also have a section where the names will be placed in their honor. WAD Ceremony 4:30p.m. We will have a guest speaker that is currently living with HIV to talk about his experience on being HIV positive. Our annual report will also be announced about the accomplishments of Vida/SIDA and it's programs. Latino MSM Forum 5:30p.m. We will have a discussion about Latino MSM, their needs, their lack of services, and ways to reduce HIV in our communities and eliminate the stigma.
