The only thing middle school had going for it...TALENT SHOWS. Middle school talent shows were THE BEST. Well now you can relive that magic of a talent show without all the awkward pre-teen angst!
Join Dixie Lynn Cartwright, Chicago's most tolerated live-singing drag queen, as she hosts and automatically wins her own talent show. There will be laughs, thrills, and very few places to sit. Six contestants will compete for second and third place in two exciting rounds.
How it works: Round one will feature all 6 contestants doing what they do best, just not as good as Dixie. The audience will then vote through applause, screaming, and begging to choose 3 finalists to move on to round 2! As the three Round 1 losers look on through their own unique shame spirals, the 3 finalists will perform another exciting musical number or def jam poem in the final round. Through one last audience vote, a second place winner will walk away with $75, a third place winner will walk away with $50, and the fourth place winner will walk away with $25 dollars and the feeling that they're not quite good enough.
