This year Pilsen Fest has added more unique components. First, El BeiSMan will be curating the Pilsen Art Showcase featuring the works of renowned local artists.
This year the Pilsen Fest’s social justice theme is Multiculturalism and Multilingualism: Celebrating a Cutural Renaissance. El BeiSMan will be curating a variety of symposiums, panel discussions, and workshops will take place as part of the festival addressing and discussing the diversity of culture and language in our society today; in particular some of discussions will examine how Pilsen as a community embodies a rebirth of ideas and cultural movements. Workshops and panels will take place at the Rudy Lozano Public Library.
