Chicago's BAATHHAUS are our most favorite queer-electro (queerlectro?) act this city has to offer, one that we've watched erupt into the heavens these past few years. If, for some reason, you don't already know, BAATHHAUS is a queer-performance-art-group-band comprised of multidisciplinary artists Patrick Andrews, Dan Foley, Jesse Young and Jesse Hozeny. The four-piece creates provocative and original music, dance, and visual art, packing house shows and small clubs around Chicago and beyond. The group weaves its songs together with narrative, choreography, and costumes combining popular music and culture with dark themes and avant-garde theatrical work (glitter and gore) explicitly exploring the concepts of "otherness." We love getting hot and steamy with these four lads, so don't squander your opportunity to witness something special here tonight. We’re excited to once again host the self-described “bear of a gay rapper” BIG DIPPER, a former Chicagoan who now calls New York City home. Known throughout the country for his playful antics, catchy beats, smart lyricism and humor, BIG DIPPER “makes everyone wanna shake their ass and bounce their dicks.” It's true, it's true -- we've seen such antics before from BIG DIPPER, in the flesh. The rest of the country is catching on to BIG DIPS' new "THICK LIFE" motto and so can you! SWAGUERRILLA is a Chicago based DJ & Multimedia Artist who's gonna be on the decks tonight to really get you bouncing around the room. He is heavily influenced by soul music, the golden age of hip hop, future bass, and the tropics.
