Here is a bio written by the artist:
"Born and raised in Blue Island for the majority of my life, drawing and playing music were always a means of escape. Initially, my lines were childish and heavy...an angst being present in the scratchy way they were lain. As time passed those lines were lightened, refined by training...mostly in my time at the American Academy of Art in Chicago. There I learned the approach to properly form a human figure. As this is the main subject I work with, it helped a great deal in getting the character images out of my head.
Now I entreat thee, to behold the fruits of my efforts and countless hours of practice..."
Michael has hand picked two acts that will each play a set throughout the show. Ramon Guillen and Catherine Foreman will be performing!
The artist has also hand picked all songs, that will play over the loud speakers, outside of the sets.
This is more than an art show, it's a view inside the mind of an artist.
