LQQKS is a showcase unisexually focused on artistic expression, stimulation, performance, art, and music inspired by all that is queer. It takes place the first Thursday of every month at Chicago’s legendary 30 year old pansexual destination, Berlin Nightclub underneath the weekly party collective Stardust rounding its 7th year. LQQKS is uniquely branded with a new vision each month; while inspired by color, scenes, independance, makeup, fabric, personality, movements, the late & great of today, yesterday & tomorrow. Examples of LQQKS inspirations have included Leigh Bowery, Stevie Nicks: Leather & Lace, The Factory (Andy Warhol, the Velvet Underground), Grace Jones, David Bowie (the Bowie Ball -in Partnership with the MCA), Twin Peaks & RED (the Ginger Ball).
