The 9th Annual Hideout Make Out Party

The 9th Annual Hideout Make-Out Party "An Evening of Aural Intercourse", will feature The Makeout Party Orchestra performing originals, arrangements of film music, and classic love themes. Music by John Barry, Frank Zappa, Celine Dion, Rimsky-Korsakov, The Ventures, Herb Alpert, Scott Walker, Roommate, Ennio Morricone, Mark Messing, and Jefferey Thomas will be featured. Cynthia Plaster Caster: Cynthia has been making plaster casts of select rock musicians’ penises and breasts for almost half a century. Originally intended as a way to get laid, her groupie schtick got declared an art form by Mothers of Invention Frank Zappa. He eventually became Cynthia's art patron and moved her out to Los Angeles to collect more casts for a future exhibition. During her stay out there, Frank's wife Gail introduced her to Zappa collaborator and frenemy Captain Beefheart. Cynthia made note of the meeting in her diary, and will be reading an excerpt at the Hideout Makeout party, February 14.
