YUM.
Bleach Party formed in May 2012 and has been knocking out their surfy, sweaty rock & roll ever since. Comprised of members of RABBLE RABBLE, VELOCICOPTER, and RODEO, the four-piece was hailed for their "swinging, fuzzed-out garage" by the Chicago Reader and Chicagoist calls their single "Empty Heads" a "a fuzzy, melodic rocker filled to the brim with happy hooks." BLEACH PARTY is the kind of band that'll make you feel like you're partying on the beach no matter what time of year it is, which is perfect because winter fucking sucks and we could use some imaginary Vitamin-fucking-D right about now.
Hollow Mountain are back on our stage for the first time since helping blow out the Tall Pat Records showcase back in November. The trio - known as ESTHER X, STEVE X and BEN X - bring their patented brand of sludge-pop that'll get your head banging off its shoulders, or so we hope. Be sure and pick up a copy of their TPR-released 7" EP while you're here -- VictimofTime.com says it's songs "with the spirit of metal" while maintaining "a clear pop sound simmering under the heaviness."
