The San Francisco Lesbian/Gay Freedom Band, the world’s first openly gay musical organization, originally created Dance-Along Nutcracker in 1985.

Lakeside Pride Music Ensembles is a recognized 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Our annual appearances and performances help the lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) communities connect to diverse audiences everywhere through music. Last year, our Lakeside Pride Freedom Marching Band, Lakeside Pride Symphonic Band, and shhh...OUT! Lakeside Pride Jazz Ensemble reached more than one million people.
