"I'm Not Nico Lang": The Official Release of Nico's First Novel

On September 4 at Powell's Books on 2850 N. Lincoln, we will celebrate the world debut of Nico Lang's first novel, The Young People Who Traverse Dimensions While Wearing Sunglasses. Co-hosted by Jen Richards and Zach Stafford, the event will feature different interpretations of Nico's work by local writers and performers, including: Joe Erbentraut (HuffPost Chicago) Leah Pickett (WBEZ) Dominick Mayer (HEAVEMedia) Joseph Varisco (Lex-i-ca, Chicago IRL) Alicia Swiz (Pop Goes Alicia) Max Bever (The World's Most Interesting Man) AND Mark Nott (In Our Words) The event will also include a reading by Nico, because otherwise that would be silly, and information about ordering the book. Food and drink will be provided, and for the coffee inclined, there are many Starbucks locations close.
