Participating restaurants agreed to donate a portion of that night’s proceeds, and volunteer Ambassadors are on hand to help raise awareness and encourage patrons to give anything extra they can! In 2012, our participating restaurants, corporate and media sponsors as well as volunteer Ambassadors raised more than $110,000!.
This Year EDGE Alliance Celebrates its 20th year being a part of Dining out for Life
Let me introduce you to your Ambassadors this year for Dining Out for LIFE,
Matthew Jarrell, Julie Mitchell, Alek Ost and Ashley Thorpe, our jobs on the evening of the event are to spread the word about Dining Out for Life, answer any questions about Dining Out for LIFE, and get people involved. AS well as these amazing people that will be volunteering there time we also have a incredible photographer Jac the owner of Gloss Photography Studios that will be donating her time and capturing all of the amazing moments leading up to the event and on the day of the event. Jaci Sumner, head photographer of Gloss Photography Studios, has been the featured photographer on the Steve Harvey Show, worked with such names as David Tutera, credit in the NY TIMES, articles in the Wedding Planner & Guide, ShorewoodToday, & the Jewish Chronicle. She shot weddings all over the country & beyond including: Mexico, Utah, Las Vegas, Madison, Lake Geneva, California, New York, Chicago, Chicagoland, Northern Wisconsin, & Milwaukee. With being booked almost every weekend for events and weddings, there is never a dull moment when it comes to inspiration & creativity. Jaci loves what she does and it shows with every frame of art she captures throughout the event's day. She tells an amazing love story with every client that is absolutely breathtaking.
