MaddJazz has been honing his innovative style Since 1996. By the age of 18, he was already DJing at raves, loft parties and clubs. Influenced by these early raves as well as his start in the turntablism scene—placing 3rd three years in a row at the DMC Chicago heats,
MaddJazz blends his favorite House, Techno, Rave, Hip Hop, Bmore, Electro, Booty, Juke, and Latin elements in the attempt to find inventive ways to showcase the emergent Chicago sound.
MaddJazz has shared the decks with infamous trendsetters by the likes of AC Slater, Bad Boy Bill, Blaqstarr, Crookers, CZR, Diplo, Distal, DJ Deeon, DJ Qbert, DJ Rashad, DJ Sega, DJ Slugo,
DJ Spinn, DJ Tameil, Dubbel Dutch, Flosstradamus, Jubilee, Kaptain Cadillac, Kingdom, Little Louie Vega, Manare, Marvy Da Pimp, Mike Dunn, Nick Catchdubs, Paul Johnson, Tim Dolla, The Knight Cats and The X-ecutioners, as well as opening up for Hip Hop heavyweights such as Daddy Yankee, Jadakiss, Styles P, UGK, Maluca and Chicago’s own Kid Sister.
He’s has made raves and clubs bang across the Midwest, as well as at WMC and SXSW. Recently, he’s brought his sounds to Belgium, France, Germany, Mexico, Poland, Puerto Rico, Spain and has
collaborated with and remixed a list of well-respected individuals such as Club Cheval’s own Canblaster (Sounds Of Sumo), DJ Kesmo (Booty Call Records), The Amplid (Tracy Recordings), Proper Villains (Nightshifters), Ultravid (Silverback Recordings), Modabot (Rot10 Musik), Acid Jacks (Idiot House Records) and Chicago peers Rampage & Nader (T&A Records).

:: AKIRA (Perfect Kiss) ::
Captivating new wave revivalist band Perfect Kiss mold edgy sensuality with electric dance beats to create a sound not heard since The Cure, Depeche Mode and other 80’s heavy-hitters. Their cutting edge style instantly allowed them to share the stage with national names such as, VHS or Beta, Felix Da Housecat, Green Velvet, Major Lazer and White Mystery. Less than a year after their formation the group was playing North Coast Music Festival and multiple Lollapalooza after parties including the Hard Rock Hotel’s highly publicized event. Recently selected as one of the Top Bands in Chicago by Do312, Perfect Kiss has established themselves as one of the most respected artists in the scene.
Perfect Kiss released their first EP 'Alarms' in 2012
