This beach is probably one of the cleanest beaches in Chicago. I hardly see garbage and everyone is pretty much friendly. Some regulars and some creepy people. Too bad our summers are only 2 months longs :-(

Any afternoon it's always busy. Fun for looking or cruising.

Been going to this beach regularly for 3 years. Very friendly crowd and lots of eye candy ! Sometimes there is some mild action, (touching, fondeling, kissing, sucking) but always in good taste. There are some regular families and straight copules there too, but the majority are gays. The bathhouse (bathroom) near the beach can get a little slutty at times.

i didn't know this either. sounds like fun. i'll check it out next time i'm in this great city (preferably not in the winter)!

This is a great Gay beach in the middle of the city ...

I live in Chicago and we never knew we had a gay beach anymore after they stoped us from going to the Belmont Harbour. The police do not like gays at the beach in Chicago.
