...i'm really not a fan of this place.. I prefer the more raunchy bars like Touches' on Clark, Manhandler's on Halsted and Cellblock on Halsted..that's were all the action is..

First time here, there was a fight between a woman and a man in the bathroom, both of whom we shall describe as "transient". Second time here six weeks later, there was a guy selling something in the same bathroom who had to be forcibly removed by the bartender. Then the third time, the bartender (same person) copped an attitude to me because I asked him what's the problem with your bathroom, it seems to cause fights. Oh well, either you have a sense of humor about your lame bar, or you get better security so it's not a problem. Go to North End instead.

Great staff, friendly clientle. I agree with the other review this is more a neighborhood bar than a sports bar.

I had a great time here. The bartenders are hot and friendly. The clientel is warm and welcoming. I wouldn't call it a sports bar; it has more of a neighborhood feel.

Buck's will forever be one of my favorites! My lover and I, and a close friend of ours, spent my lover's last brithday here, his 55th. Five Months later he died, suddenly, of leukemia. He, and I, and our friend, had a great time that nite, on February 1, 2007. Thanks, so much, Buck's!!! I will never forget. The bartenders were special! The other client was very friendly.

Summer Patio is a friendly great place... esp on Fridays..
Wonderful bartenders John, Matt, Ed/dad just to mention a very few.
Don't be afraid to say hi the the guy/gal next to you.. This place attracts attitude free humans.
